Had Nes


Location : Had Nes is a village community on the eastern bank of the Jordan in the Golan Regional Council

The name : initials of three Sinai communities which were destroyed: Haruvit, Dikla and Neot Sinai. The phrase “Had Nes” (one flag) is also part of the teachings of Ze’ev Jabotinsky, founder of the Betar movement which founded the settlement

History After evacuation of the from Sinai and the peace agreement between Israel and Egypt, organized the Betar movement for the establishment of settlements for the Sinai evacuees. In 1987 appealed the movement in the press to families who want to to join and in 1989 established the settlement, but in the end without even a one family evacuated from the Sinai

Today: community Had Nes is in a significant development momentum – 150 families build their homes on the new expansion. Had Nes is a community tourism and tourism village which is set to guest rooms, swimming pool , and tourist attractions . Most of the community economy based on tourism and Vacation projects as hosting, jeep tours and activities in the river

Education Young children: the community care center, kindergarten and After School Care. Elementary school, “Avital” in Merom Golan High School: “Noffei Golan” in Katzrin. Transportation are organized by the Golan Regional Council.

Employment The main livelihood of the community is from tourism: accommodation, jeep tours and river activities Nearby industrial areas: Katzrin, Tzahar, Hatzor.

Culture On holidays are held in shared activities for children, teens and adults. Courses take place in community club for all ages. Community center activities are open to residents of Had Nes
